The Pebblelane is a cherished bespoke residential project conceived during the global pause of the pandemic, showcasing resilience and creativity in challenging times.
Our design drew inspiration from the clients’ distinct personalities: one partner, assertive and efficient, formerly served at NASA; the other, light-hearted and detail-oriented, is an accomplished private banker. This polarized dynamic, combined with the varied functional needs of a growing family with three children, became the foundation for both the aesthetics and functionality of the spaces we created for this energetic and bountiful household.
The gallery kitchen reflects this dynamic through bold black-and-white contrasts, symbolizing the interplay of the clients’ personalities, while embracing the luxury of an oversized, leather-finished natural stone island. Every detail is carefully considered to balance beauty with functionality, resulting in a space that is both elegant and practical. The centerpiece is the oversized 11-foot-long island with leather-finished granite; the leather finish enhances the stone’s natural grain, adding a subtle yet mesmerizing touch of luxury while ensuring lasting resilience—a timeless feature in an elegant kitchen.
By focusing on understated elements, we not only elevate the refinement of the space but also ensure the longevity of the design. Thoughtful craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail result in timeless pieces that withstand the test of time, bringing elegance and durability to every corner of the project.
